Dinner has gotten rather boring around here, especially when Johnny is out of own for work. I just can't make anything for myself and the two munchkins without it leaving a TON of leftovers! So we decided to pretend we owned a pizza shop and this is the activity of the night:
I was soooo nervous to let Gennovah and Boston grate the cheese (am I paranoid?). I was scared that they would cut their little fingers on the grater...
Boston did such a great job spreading the pizza sauce, and after about two he lost interest and turned to play with his trains.
Gennovah didn't mind being the center of attention with finishing the pizza for everyone. She did such a great job at "painting" the sauce and then sprinkling the cheese.
Before they go into the oven...
Enjoying our delicious homemade pizza!
Yummy dinner, now what is for dessert?
This recipe is super easy if you wanted to have your children make dinner for a change.
1 package hamburger buns
1 can of pizza sauce (I use a resealable container)
Mozzarella cheese
Make pizza like you normally would on the hamburger bun halves and bake on cookie sheet in over @ 350' for 5-7 minutes.
--Thanks Mom!
