Growing...

When we moved to Daybreak, we knew that the neighborhood would grow rather quickly with being in the first phase...Well today is a testament to that. We had our stake conference and you can guess what happened...The Stake Split!

While listening to everyone bear their testimonies I began to think about how many wards and stakes that we have been in since we made our move. The conclusion, 5 wards and 3 stakes. I know that our stake will continue to grow which is so exciting, but our ward will remain for a long while, unless of course they redraw the lines :)

A couple in front of us was hoping to remain in the old stake because everything is organized. I was so shocked to hear this because where else in the world can you claim that in less that 3 years you have been in 5 wards and 2 stakes and have come to know and love so many brothers and sisters. Seriously! I am so excited to be on yet a new adventure, which I am sure will be chaotic but with the church growing so quickly around us, who wouldn't want to be a part of that!

We love to see the Temple...

We took a recent trip to California and I am finally getting back into the swing of things! Anyway, we got to see two Temples along the way.

First--Newport Beach Temple

I thought this Temple was built a lot more recently than it was, 2005. But hey it is new to you if you are seeing it for the very first time. Every Temple has such a different beauty to it. I love the church.

Next--San Diego Temple

I couldn't believe that this was right off the freeway, literally. It was almost on the I-5. I never understood why every girl would dream of getting married in the San Diego Temple because of its resemblance to a castle, but now I understand. Where ever our kids decide we will be there, I hope that it is the San Diego Temple. I just couldn't get over how majestic it is!

The kids were so cute while we were on the Temple grounds. They were so reverent and especially loving on one another. I love how special they make me feel, but shouldn't it be the other way around?!
